What are coupon mailings?
Coupon mailings are a quick way to send payment coupons to your customers so they can pay on time and you can keep cash-flow moving. You upload your address and coupon data, and our system will generate and mailing and coupons for you.
What coupon options do you offer?
We offer two formats: Coupon Sheets and Coupon Booklets. Both include up to 12 individual payment coupons and are built to simplify recurring billing.
What is the difference between Coupon Booklets and Coupon Sheets?
Coupon Sheets are 4-up perforated sheets where recipients tear off coupons themselves. Coupon Booklets are individually cut and glue-bound booklets that arrive pre-assembled for a more premium, convenient experience.
How do I choose between sheets and booklets?
Choose Coupon Sheets if you want a lower cost option and faster turnaround. Choose Coupon Booklets if you want a more polished presentation and don’t mind a potentially longer production window (coupon booklets are the only product we offer that can take longer than the 2-business day mailing guarantee. This will be reflected on the mail out date within your shopping cart, prior to payment).
How much do coupon mailings cost?
Coupon Sheets start at $2.08 per recipient, and Coupon Booklets start at $3.00. Final pricing depends on your mailing settings and any add-ons.
How long does production take?
Coupon Sheets will mail out within 2 business days after approval. Coupon Booklets might take longer—up to 4 business days.
What do I need to upload to create a coupon job?
You’ll upload a properly formatted CSV data file that includes recipient addresses plus the fields needed to generate the OCR line on each payment coupon. A sample template is available within your account when you choose “Send Coupon(s).”
What information appears on each coupon?
Each coupon can include the due date, amount due, description (like account/property details), an OCR line for lockbox scanning, and optional late-fee logic if you use it.
Can I include multiple charges on a single coupon?
Yes. Each coupon supports four line items so you can show different fees (e.g., dues, maintenance, late charges) without issuing separate coupons.
Can I change the line item titles or due dates?
Yes. When building your job, use “Change Coupon Options” on the Recipient List/Review screen to rename line items and set due dates (including quarterly or other schedules).
Where are the perforations on Coupon Sheets?
Sheets use a pre-perforated layout. You can confirm your PDF lines up perfectly by running it through the PDF PreFlight Tool in your account against the perforated paper options.
Do recipients have to remove coupons themselves?
Yes—for coupon sheets, the paper is already perforated for them, making it easy for recipients to cleanly remove the coupons. For Booklets, the coupons are already cut and bound, so they can flip through and remove individual coupons easily.
Can I add return envelopes with coupon mailings?
Yes. Both coupon options can include return/remittance envelopes. You’ll see all available options during the job creation process.
